Sydney, get ready because you’re about to get a fried chicken festival! Yes – you heard that right.
Things are about to be taken to the next level full of crispy, soul nourishing birds which will be held at Cake Wines Cellar Door in Redfern.
The one-day festival will offer a range of locally made wines and mouth watering fried chicken by four of Sydney’s most acclaimed chicken fryers.
Hartsyard is serving Southern-style fried chicken with their special hot sauce, ranch and pickles. Moon Park will be offering a Korean style chook with a shrimp-brined fried chicken, soy and syrup with a side of pickled daikon.
Henry Lee will store fried chicken on brioche rolls with chipotle dressing and slaw. But if you prefer a pub style feast, The Lord Gladstone will be serving fried chicken burgers and crispy fried chicken wings and hot wings buffalo style.
Cake wines along with Little Creatures Brewing and White Rabbit Brewery will help you wash down the protein packed goodness with a drink or two.
